I love travel, but a guilty pleasure of mine is to get all packed up! Here’s a few of my favorite tips and tricks I use to make sure I don’t forget anything!
1. I make a packing list! I color code out different categories such as clothing, toiletries, technology, and different things depending on what I know I’ll need for that trip! It helps me stay organized. I also take that list with me to make sure I don’t forget anything when I’m packing for back home.
2. I always do a load of laundry before I pack/leave. This a) allows me to see all of my clothes to make the right decisions and b) makes my first day back home easier because all I have to do is laundry from the trip.
3. I stock up on travel sized bottles! I live by philosophy and Tatcha, and they just so happen to make labeled travel sizes of my faves! I keep the bottles and fill them up from my full sizes when I need to travel! (PS, the Deep Cleanse and the Water Cream from Tatcha have changed my life! I also love, love, love anything form philosophy, especially their Purity Made Simple cleanser. I’ll link everything below!) I also make sure any of my pills/vitamins are packed up (shout out to Halo Beauty Kiwi for boosting my skin game up a notch! I have a special review planned for her!)
4. Invest in a travel jewelry organizer! I got mine in my FabFitFun Box, and use it EVERY time I travel. I’ll link down an Amazon goodie so you guys can see!
5. I plan out my outfits, and only bring two extra. Now, I’ve always been that girl who packs a pageant dress with her, “just in case” But here recently, I’ve been determined to fit all of my stuff in a carry on (which I’ve gotten pretty good at).I wear my “bulkiest” items to the airport, such as my tennises. This saves room for the carry on, and keeps me comfy on the plane (don’t worry, you guys will see my airport outfit!)

You know what else I think is great for traveling? Individual Face Masks!! Why take a whole bottle/tube (when most are over the 3oz limit for airlines). Several companies offer individually wrapped ones!
